The Amenities
The Governor's Pointe Home Owners Association amenities were designed in keeping with the community theme inspired by the Governor's Mansion, English villages, and Colonial Williamsburg's Duke of Gloucester Street. At the end of each day, you will be greeted by the dramatic and stately entry. You've arrived home, and what a home it will be...
The Entry to Governor's Pointe
At the heart of the neighborhood is the 2500 square foot community center. This lovely building was designed with the community architecture in mind, as well as every possible convenience to enable year-round use by the Governor's Pointe home owners.
The Community Center at Governor's Pointe
Designed to encourage activity and use by the residents, the neighborhood also features bocce and tennis courts, a putting green, a children's play area, and two pools. The outdoor gas grill and fire pit provide a perfect place to enjoy friends and family, watching the sunset over the Nansemond River with the smells of bratwurst cooking on the grill or perhaps a steaming pot of clam chowder to take the edge off of a chilly fall evening.
In keeping with the Williamsburg theme, Governor's Pointe has several beautifully landscaped gardens designed by Wynn Nurseries. An English garden behind the community center as well as a rose garden at Warwickshire are just a few of the visual amenities that enhance the Governor's Pointe setting.
